2020 won ??

 2020 a year that penned terms like pandemic, lockdowns, isolation, social distancing , contagion, comorbities. 

A year where natured breathed out fresh air. Birds and animals breathed fresh and intoxicated air and humans caged in thier homes.. masked in , distancing from loved ones miles and miles away .

 

Like others I was too committed myself to this so-called attainable goal of holding torch and painting the town red with my convictions and embarking on a new journey  but then 2020 happened

a year crammed with mutilated penned versions of lockdowns in almost all parts of the world and quarantines . 

Families members stuck in various parts of world due to unprecedented lockdowns stayed apart  in two different parts of the world , or same cities or different states made meetings only virtually on video calls dubious on my new year’s commitment this time. Virtual way was the only way they could meet.

Mentally, emotionally drained up emotions lingering in the minds as it was never in the wildest of dreams would we have thought that distance would eat up our best part of the brain. 


Life can twirl any moment .When the sky is gloomy, do what Hank Aaron did, “Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging.”


Stop compromising on your health, immunity has been a much discussed topic during last year. A healthy lifestyle is a defense against any predator. Invest in being fit.

One needs the heart of a lion to put your own life at risk to save others. Doctors, paramedics, policemen, aviation workforce and sanitation workers were all serving us during this contagion. Gratitude is the best attitude –


 Work-from-home was the new mantra to survive during this pandemic literally to any field  that can survive by distancing itself from going to the place of work ., That seems to be more productive in work- from- office owing to more flexibility and saving work commutes. Education too took a leap , thanks to the educators who worked behind to master the thought of schooling at home 

Seems this pandemic happened  to be a boon for the digital world upon taking up everything digitally. E- commerce giants came as winners and our survival squad, even payment and wallet companies have vocalized their intentions to continue with this mode of work even after this catastrophe is over. It’s not the place but your intent that makes you deliver your best!


While we are still learning our lessons, and getting closer to an end of this pandemic through vaccinations , another devilish entry has been made by SARS-CoV-2 – a sibling to  Corona thought it didn’t bully us enough so called his elder brother. Nobody knows what lies ahead, all we expect from 2021 is to be calmer than 2020.. but till then stay safe , don’t think the pandemic has ended and it’s time to lay off the masks 😷 No Never . This pandemic doesn’t come home uninvited so make sure you don’t invite the virus home by layoff the mask 


Wish I could leap into the future to foretaste what 2021 holds for us. Since I do not possess this surreal power, I would stay happy in harking back to what 2020 taught me and step into another calendar of 365 days with the finest upshots of the last one.


Literally 2020 won 💪🏼 Over us 

Wish we can unite with our loved ones this year and hug them without a thought of ... oh corona !

As the title reflects it describes my decade of life and if it builds interests among the blog readers about how a decade brings about changes in your life. I would start with my decade of life these past 10 years of my life had been a magical journey. It really transformed my life. A thought passed by me when the millennium started like where would I be 10 years from now. And it was a question asked by my college teacher then taking our communications lecture.
