Life.. it gives you so many surprises ! It gives you joy and happiness ! I have these very vague memories of 1983 world cup. I was then 3 yr old watching world cup in our  new black and white(B&W) Murphy TV that my Dad had bought just to see the world cup match with our family. And that was the first time that dad had come on his 2 month leave after for the first time, since he had got a big break to work in the  overseas. As a 3 year old since I didn’t understand the game much and the did not understand the emotions running each time Indians used to hit  a six and four with the bat or take a wicket. I used to dance and roar with the crowd…….here the crowd resembles my 4 uncles, my father, my mother, my grandpa, my grand mom, my uncles set of 5 – 6 friends , our dear neighbours families (we had about 3 neighbours then) my mom and my neighbour aunties  who used to break- in those roaring’s , since most of the time they were  in our kitchen preparing delicious vadapav’s and samosas for the  hungry crowds screaming their lung...
